We had a fun day at Carowinds in Charlotte, NC yesterday. We went with Gammy and Granddaddy, Aunt Darlene, Elizabeth and Katelyn. The little girls were so excited to meet Dora the Explorer! It was hot but we cooled off in the water park at the end of the day. It was great!

Welcome to our blog!
We are excitedly awaiting our trip to China - well, some of us more excitedly than others. We have completed all of our shots and paperwork and hopefully we've thought of everything else we need to do. We'll soon find out. We all still have moments of wondering why we would move half way across the world to learn a language. But, we are the ones who eloped 13 years ago, aren't we? Would you expect anything less than unconventionality from us? We are busy packing and spending time with our families in South Carolina before we leave on Monday, July 31st at 4:30PM South Carolina time. We look forward to keeping you informed as we go on our three year adventure. Enjoy these two pictures of some of the fun things we've done this summer until we update you again.
